From someone who has moved quite a lot in life - it’s always uprooting. The saying “putting down roots” is literal… I think that we do “root” where we are planted, and hopefully bloom there. Sending positive energy to you and yours for a smooth and fruitful move.
I know exactly what you mean--I moved a little over a month ago and am still sorting through boxes of stuff. You are right- it is disorienting, difficult, confusing, yet gratifying and somewhat exciting thinking about what the Lord has for me here.
